What it does
One job, done properly: read your tickets, check every line, and tell you where you stand after each drawing.
- Whole-ticket scanning that runs entirely on your device
- Automatic result checking, with an alert the moment results are in
- Multi-draw tickets handled in one scan, checked drawing after drawing
- Share a ticket with the people you play with, so everyone finds out together
- Built for real tickets, including faded print and watermarks
- Live jackpots and countdowns to the next Powerball and Mega Millions drawing
- A complete win and loss history with running totals
- No ads, no ad tracking, and we never sell your data
Free to check.
Checking your tickets is free. Pro adds unlimited scans, photo imports, multi-draw tickets, and the full drawing archive for $34.99 a year after a 7-day free trial, or $4.99 a month. That is less than one $5 Mega Millions play a month. Subscriptions are billed through the App Store or Google Play and can be cancelled there at any time.
Jackpot Genius is an independent ticket-tracking tool. It is not affiliated with any state lottery, Powerball®, or Mega Millions®, and it doesn’t sell tickets or accept wagers. Results are informational. Winning tickets should always be verified with your state lottery.
Your tickets stay yours.
The scanning happens entirely on your phone, so your ticket photos never leave the device and are never uploaded to us. There are no ads and no ad tracking, and we never sell your data. Privacy is not a setting you go find here, it is how the app is built.

Email support
Email us at support@haretriggerproductions.com. Include the app version (Settings > About) and a short note on what happened, and we will take it from there.
- Someone sent me a ticket link. What do I do?
- Open it. With the app installed, the shared lines are added to your own tickets and checked automatically after each drawing. Without it, the link shows the ticket and points you to the stores.
- The scanner isn't reading my ticket.
- Lay the ticket flat in good light and hold your phone about 10 to 12 inches away. The scanner crops in on its own. Faded or crumpled tickets usually still read, and you can correct any line by tapping it on the review screen before you save.
- A result looks wrong.
- Results come from public lottery data and automated ticket reading, and either one can occasionally get it wrong. Always verify a winning ticket with your state lottery before you discard it, then email us so we can look into it.
- How do I cancel my subscription?
- Subscriptions are billed and managed by your app store. On iPhone, open Settings > your name > Subscriptions and cancel there. On Android, open the Play Store app, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- How do I delete my account?
- In the app, go to Settings > your profile > Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and every saved ticket, and it cannot be undone.
- Which games does Jackpot Genius support?
- Powerball and Mega Millions, the two big US multi-state games. Point the camera at either ticket and it reads every line.
- Is checking really free? What does Pro cost?
- Checking your tickets is free. Pro adds unlimited scans, photo imports, multi-draw tickets, and the full drawing archive (check a ticket from any past drawing) for $34.99 a year after a 7-day free trial, or $4.99 a month, billed through the App Store or Google Play and cancellable there anytime.
- Do multi-draw tickets work?
- Yes. Scan a multi-draw ticket once and every drawing it covers is saved and checked as each result comes in. Covering the whole ticket in one save is a Pro feature. Free accounts can have tickets waiting on up to 5 upcoming drawings at a time; a drawing stops counting as soon as it happens and your ticket is checked.
- Do I need an account?
- You can browse live jackpots and drawing results as a guest. To save your tickets and have them checked against results, you will need an account.
- Does scanning work without internet?
- Yes. Scanning and text recognition run on your device, so reading a ticket works offline. Tickets you save offline sync on their own the next time you have a connection. Checking results needs a connection.
